Some Q&A with Taunton BID.

We’ve collected feedback, concerns and questions that we’ve been receiving from in person meetings, social media, across our website and emails etc, and on 11th September 2019 we took the opportunity to filter them through collectively to the Taunton BID proposers for their responses. These questions were based on the draft proposal to date, and as Taunton BID release their Business Plan we expect voters will have more questions which we’re happy to collate and filter through to Taunton BID.

We put forward the questions in a very detailed and constructive manner, and received replies from Taunton BID on 12th September 19, please see below our questions, the answers we received and our further comments. Read for yourself and you'll probably agree that there are some acceptable replies, yet many worrying ones, make your own conclusions. But why do their answers to our questions matter so much? It's because it's a taste of what's to come from the same people if BID is voted in, and clear demonstration of many of the bad things about BIDs.
