BID levy refunds are due and VIOW is not in a legal position to be a new BID Proposer & deliver new BID arrangements.

 

Through some diligent research the following has been uncovered:

  1. Because the 2016-2021 BID has finished, all remaining BID money is to be returned to levy payers. Also see our article Wight BID No Longer Exists!

  2. Visit Isle of Wight Ltd has by it’s own Articles of Association no legal basis to operate a new BID.

Here is a letter to the Council with all the supporting evidence, making them aware of these findings and suggesting they to take appropriate action to remedy the situation.
