Why are we being denied access to the voters list?

8/3/21. We are now a week further on from our first request to have a copy of the voter list, that Advancing Aberystwyth put together and handed to the Council ( despite their claims they put it together ) which we are legally entitled to have within the BID Regulations, to use for canvassing.

This list has been in the hands of Advancing Aberystwyth for some time now and as we are all aware, they have been canvassing for your Yes vote, promising a lot but no assurances that any of it will be delivered should they get another 5 years.

The Council's Returning Officer over the past week , through numerous amounts of correspondence between us, has clearly not acted in the neutral capacity that his role requires to ensure a fair and democratic ballot process.

Alarmingly, concerns have been raised with the Chief Executive of Ceredigion County Council, Eifion Evans, who simply passed it back to the Returning Officer to deal with.

You cannot have a democratic process when only one side has access to the information, has Council funding and backing, it is clearly NOT democratic and fair to the businesses of Aberystwyth.

Ceredigion County Council and Advancing Aberystwyth are both working together to manipulate the process to gain a Yes win for their own gains.

However, it is YOU that can stop this by simply VOTING NO !!
