Wight BID have told staff not to work & been claiming furlough
So whilst Visit Isle of Wight should have been working hard for BID levy payers doing everything they can to get ready for the 2021 tourist season after a dreadful 2020, they decided it’s best a number of staff didn’t need to do any work for you, and instead furlough them December 20 to March 21 inclusive.
This was happening whilst they were telling you they're working hard for you promoting the Island and doing all they can to help you back to normality.
When in reality they’ve had staff sat on their asses at home delivering sod all for you while the levy continues to be collected through threat of court action.
